If you guys wanted to know.... I was actually booted out from the first balloting for the selection round to Korea. And because of that.......... I cried. So bad. Cause I didn't get to go. Only 60 people was selected for this (It's not selected based on grades or whatsoever, it's just a wheel that has our name on it, and if your name was selected means that you will go into the waiting list automatically)
So, like any normal trip, there are people who backed out from the trip AFTER being selected and yes, because of that, souls like me that was in the waiting got a chance to ballot again for the remaining slots that were left. There were like 22 of us that was in the waiting list and there were 13 spots left. I was actually reluctant to go cause I kinda lose hope because of the first time but heck, I just went.... to see my luck. So, the "dreaded" wheel was used once again. AND TO MY SURPRISE, THIS TIME ROUND, MY NAME GOT SELECTED AFTER THE 4TH OR THE 5TH NAME AND I LITERALLY JUMPED FOR JOY (Yes, literally. I was clapping and cheering) I left the Lecture Theatre feeling so good about myself. Also, my roommate was actually booted out from the first ballot but her name got called up for the second one so yes, it was a double happiness for the both of us.
A few days before my trip to Korea, I get to spend time with my precious boy. Did some last minute shopping with him, watched The Purge: Anarchy, it was damn good, I swear. Spending time with him makes me so happy and I know I am going to miss him when I'm at Korea. (I did.)
Just my baby shaking his fries hehe
Tick tock, tick tock and the day finally came.
It was amazing. The entire trip, it's amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment there even if it's a school trip. I met and made new friends and I'm glad that this trip really bonded the entire DCRSM students. Would I ever return to Korea? Yes, one day.
WE SCREAM ICE CREAM. IN THIS CASE, MINIMELTS. WHERE ELSE CAN WE FIND THIS?
Our roommates, Linda and Emily! *hearts*
Homestay with a Korean family. It's kinda sad that we had a communication barrier (coz they can't speak English) and we had a hard time trying to understand what they're trying to say. But they're so so so nice and they want us to feel like home, it felt super nice.
AND I FINALLY GET TO TALK TO MY PRECIOUS BABY, SO HAPPPPPPPPPPPY.
Hi Nadra, hi Ardilla. hi Afiqah.
Swollen eye on my last day in Korea. :-( I look like shit.
The wonderful wonderful wonderful girls that I've met during this trip.
And I'm back in Singapore and it's always good to be back home. I miss my Korea moments and of course, I would want to rewind time but then......... the flight to and fro was so dang uncomfortable coz I can't sleep :-(
I WAS KINDA ANGST COZ I DIDN'T GET TO FINISH WATCHING THIS MOVIE ON THE WAY BACK TO SINGAPORE but thank God for Fauzi for downloading the movie for me when I couldn't find any websites that I could watch online. Love love love my Fauzi.

Random OOTDs I took at some void deck near my block.
And on the last Saturday of September, I spent it with my precious boy. I love love love love love the top that I bought (on that day) and changed it on the spot. Factorie FTW!!!!! 50% discount FTW. Staff purchase FTW!!! Anywayyyy, it was a simple ass date with the precious boy but we always had fun. He drives me crazy. He bullies me and teases me and he just loves to laugh at how helpless I am but meh, I probably have my ways to get him back so all is well. Hehe, I love you, my precious! Mwah mwah mwah
Just rambling about life(?)
So, 29th Sept (Mon) was actually Kakak #2's nineteenth birthday, so we went to a steamboat restaurant at Burlington Square near Sim Lim (but there's no pictures of food because I care more about eating than taking photos, honestly)
PS: We celebrated the birthday on Sunday coz Monday is obviously a weekday and everyone is at work/busy.
BUT ON THE ACTUAL DAY, MY SISTER AND I WENT TO THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SINGAPORE AND IT WAS ACTUALLY IMPROMPTU AND I WAS ACTUALLY SKEPTICAL ABOUT IT COZ I DON'T REALLY GO OUT WITH MY SISTER ALONE AND IT WAS, UM, AWKWARD TBH. But heck, I had fun (somewhat) and some sister time alone. (I am cringing right now. Oh my god.) It's funny how it's her birthday but she's the one who paid for everything, so much love for my Kakak #2.
We had our dinner at WingZone and omg, I regret my whole life. I LOVE chicken but omg.......... I chose the most ridiculous flavours out of the many many options they had and I would say, I didn't enjoyed eating it :-( but it's okay, there's always a next time.
This post was so long overdue but it's okay!!! October will be another fun-filled month with Fauzi's POP and our plans together after that AND SCHOOL REOPENING. For now, I would say that I am utilizing my school holidays well and I have no regrets. Till next time, here's a cute picture of MJ heh
