Wow, it's been a lil more than a year since the last post. I must say, there are so many good things that happened and also, a difficult loss in the beginning of the year.
What am I doing here AGAIN? As some of y'all know, I stopped blogging because I found a new platform to key in my daily posts (quite convenient cause you can just put photos and write something short and done) it's basically like a personal diary but the online version.
Recently, they mentioned that they were closing down and we had to save our posts before they do a complete shutdown. Quite similar like how they did with Friendster and Keek. They're literally non-existent right now. But the weird thing is, they still haven't shut it down and I'm in a dilemma. So I figured, maybe I should go back to blogging. Although I'm not as free back then, I still wanna blog cause I like to see how far I've gone and became the person I am today (wow so cliche huh? LOL)
So here's an update on my life. It won't be in a chronological order - but whichever I can think of first.
BTO SELECTION
So, recently on the 24th May, Fauzi and I went for our HDB appointment to select our unit. We've been wanting to share this with everybody and we finally posted about it on our Instagram story. It's pretty exciting and quite straightforward if you bring all the documents they told you to bring beforehand. You'll get shocked that some people never bothered to bring ANYTHING to their appointment SMH. It took us 45 minutes to finish with the paperwork. Can you imagine how much LONGER it will take if you came in with nothing..... Fauzi and I are really grateful and so so thankful for the enormous support from our loved ones and friends. I can't wait to share the progress in the next few years!
IBU'S ADVANCED 48TH BIRTHDAY
This year is a lil more special, not because of the full strength.... but announcing to the whole family about our BTO and our engagement officially. Ibu and Ayah has been very supportive with our decision and this is another moment that was "nerve-wrecking" in Fauzi's words but a joyous occasion for both our families. Here's to more adult decisions YAY :'-)
TT'S ARRIVAL
She's here!! Born on the 13th of Feb, she's the bundle of joy Fauzi's family was looking forward to. She's turning 5 months in a few weeks' time and she loves Didi and Friends. Can't wait for her 1st birthday so her Paman Fauzi and Bibik Syasya can spoil her rotten and take her out more. I've always felt that I'm better with toddlers cause they can communicate better and it's easier being weird and going the extreme mile to make them laugh. Her name is Dhia Safiyyah (a combination of her parents' names) but I'm so used to calling her TT-shi.
MJ'S DEPARTURE
Not a celebratory moment but a difficult loss in the beginning of the year that impacted the whole family. His death was so unexpected and no one knew why. He was fine, eating as usual and just basically doing his thing. He was our first family cat and we had him for almost 9 years. We all thought he could outlive an average lifespan of a cat..... guess not. Now we're left with 2. Hope you're doing well up there, MJ. We love you forever.
